Nicholas VAN BERGEN GARNER, PGDipAc MDAcC

Nicholas graduated as acupuncturist from Scandinavian College of Acupuncture in 1994. In 2000 he became Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has more than 20 years of clinical and teaching experience.

He is the founder and daily leader of Medital Klinic Danmark and København og Aarhus Akupunkturskole and is presently researching facial expressions and emotional disorders at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, England as part of a degree in Master of Science of Oriental Medicine.

Physical therapy and working therapeutically with breathing techniques and soft tissue treatments enhanced his awareness of emotional responses in the physical body. The many years of clinical practice, working with a range of different needling techniques in clinical case study trials has focused his attention to transformation of deep emotional issues and internal causes of disease.

Nicholas combines Western and Eastern medical paradigms and needling techniques, and has specialized in constitutional facial acupuncture through training in the United States, Germany, England and Vietnam. He travels to Vietnam once a year, to work with Vietnamese doctors who share common visions about inner beauty reflected in the exterior, and who are of the faith that acupuncture is symbolic to planting a lotus flower seed in each patient and helping it grow and flourish.

Nicholas introduces new combinations of TCM, 5-phase acupuncture and facial muscle physiognomy and expressions related to emotional disorders.
